Most of which fall under 'who cares?' I have other devices that do most all
of those functions better and/or more cheaply. I just want a PHONE, damnit,
not a poseur fashion accessory. I don't want to pay for all that other crap
I'll never use. Bluetooth especially irritates me. People walking down hall
or street, and I think they are talking to me, till they turn their head
with an irritated WTF? look, and I see that damn Borg implant.

The comment was made that phones haven't changed much in ten years- the
statement was wrong. I know the thought gets your Apple undies in a bunch,
but I care very little, if at all, about your lack of a clue.
The iPhone is not the cutting edge device you sweart it is. It is a
bloated and overpriced item that has alreadu lost its appeal. Deal with it
and stop trying to protray it as the second coming.

The "uncivilized" location you speak of would be most of America. And
do you really think robberies and bullying would not happen amongst he
kids in your ultra wealthy enclave? Think again

In the context of the prior claim that all phones would be like iphones in 10 years.

Nope. Particularly with low end phones.

I dont even have any apple undies, or apple products either thanks.

Never ever could bullshit and lie its way out of a wet paper bag.

I never ever said it was a cutting edge device.

Yes.

Nope.

Nothing to deal with, child.

Never ever did anything even remotely resembling anything like that either.
You're confusing me with someone else, child.

Naaah, it took Newton longer to die than that.
Besides, you're discounting the future success of the nostalgic iPhone
Nano's click-wheel rotary-dial interface...
Despite the flaws, the iPhone is a resounding success. It already had
manufacturers scrambling to imitate before it was released (LG Prada, HTC
Touch) and if nothing else, it'll perhaps spur the consumer to actually
USE some the crap in their phones that we geeks take for granted. (Go
home to check e-mail? How 20th century!)

Jezuz... are you REALLY this stupid??
I think every time you post, you dig your (stupid) hole deeper.
Get out in the REAL world and see reality.
802.11X isn't even a poor substitute for cellular.
Just by it's nature, it can't be.
WiMax won't be either...
